About Us
Women-based society has the potential to create a peaceful environment as well as open the doors of development. A woman faces any challenge to take her family to a better position.
Diriya Vanitha Women’s Society was born and it was realized that the wishes of such women can be fulfilled not only by Sun but by applying the energy of several others.
The gathering of 5-15 women at one place was called Ekumuthu. At least ten such groups and more than 80 members were called a branch. The sum of several khas is a region, the sum of several zones is a district and the sum of several districts is the nation.
The encouragement a woman receives from such a branch is immeasurable. Even if they are scattered from many parts of the society, they deal with loans up to 7 lakh rupees. Rs.2500/- to Rs.100,000/- welfare benefits. Charities from birth to death and beyond are also entitled to benefits. This also provides savings for a child’s education and a pension to enjoy the prime of life. It is no longer a dream for the members to own a house and a vehicle of their own. In the case of heart surgery and kidney diseases, a lot of economic relief is also done through this society.
Destitute with no capital, they slowly build up a large capital while providing for their children and their families.
Finally it can be said that due to the existing insurance coverage, one’s own death is not burdensome to one’s union members or family members as well as death of one’s earner.
Being a death. We have other great return investments.
This is our Diyavanita Development Services Cooperative Society. We invite you to come and join us.
